The GREEN is the NEW black!

Per la prossima estate, le tendenze moda 2021, decidono di mettere in secondo piano i colori caldi per fare spazio ai colori freddi e tra questi uno ha conquistato l’estro e il cuore di moltissimi stilisti, il verde! 

Dressucan

Il colore della rinascita, della sostenibilità e della felicità ha invaso le passerelle della moda primavera estate 2021: passando dalle tonalità neon di Balmain alle sfumature più morbide e naturali di Dior e Michael Kors Collection, fino a toccare la freschezza della sfumatura smeraldo di Bottega Veneta e dell’acquamarina per l’abito bon ton di Boss.

Le proposte del ready-to-wear esplorano e propongono questa tendenza attraverso svariati tessuti. Si spazia da quelli più rigidi e strutturati – come il tulle – a quelli più fluidi e sensuali come raso e seta dal finish lucido. Il massimo comune denominatore avvistato in passerella riguarda però la tipologia di look: il mantra sembra essere “o tutto o niente”, ergo il verde si porterà in total look, assoluto e come unico protagonista.

L’onda verde ci ha letteralmente travolte, anche per merito di alcune serie TV di successo; infatti non è apparsa solo sulle passerelle ma ha lasciato anche qualche traccia importante definendo alcuni outfit delle protagoniste di due successi in particolare: La regina degli scacchi e Emily in Paris. Beth Harmon indossa un dolcevita color verde mirto che esalta la sua carnagione e il colore fulvo dei suoi capelli, mentre Emily sfoggia due capi Chanel davvero super glamour: un biker verde bottiglia metal effect e una giacca di tweed a sacchetto con tasche applicate menta.

Ovviamente anche per l’icona di stile Hailey Bieber è stato impossibile resistere a questa nuova tendenza. Ad aprile è stata immortalata per le strade di Beverly Hills con addosso un EB Denim a vita alta, un blazer verde neon di Kwaidan Editions, una canottiera bianca di Totême e high heels, categoricamente verdi, di Bottega Veneta. Outfit assolutamente da copiare!

E per quanto riguarda il cinema?  L’abito verde più iconico è senza  dubbio quello color smeraldo indossato da Keira Knightley nel film Espiazione, diretto da Joe Wright nel 2007, realizzato dalla costumista statunitense Jacqueline Durran, considerato da più fonti come uno dei migliori costumi della storia del cinema.

Le fashioniste e influencer che conoscono le ultime tendenze e padroneggiano il guardaroba, propongono spesso idee originali o inedite. E ovviamente Dressucan vi consiglia di sperimentare, sempre, perché è in questo modo che nascono i trends. Sono sicura, che molte di voi hanno paura di osare, più che altro per la paura di risultare “pacchiane” o “fuori luogo”. Non abbiate paura! In realtà quest’anno il verde sarà vostro alleato! 

How to match GREEN

                       

1. Il verde si presta davvero a tantissimi accostamenti, come ad esempio con il rosa, con l’arancione, con il blue, con il glicine o con il bordeaux. 
2. Lo so che a volte è più rassicurante una comfort zone definita dalla palette neutra composta dal nero, bianco e beige, ma una punta di colore inaspettata (e azzeccata) può dare un twist al look finale. Che sia un blazer, un paio di sandali o una maxi clutch poco importa.
3. Assolutamente SI al TOTAL LOOK, anche perché quest’anno gli stilisti sono stati molto chiari : verde all over!
4. Si al verde monocromatico, NO all’accostamento di due verdi diversi ma simili.
5. Mai abbinare le note pastello con il blu elettrico.

Which GREEN to choose?

VERDE SOTTOBOSCO

Una punta di verde neutra che può trasformare qualsiasi capo in un passepartout del guardaroba, da indossare sia in primavera che in autunno. Accessori neri, oppure a contrasto, brillanti, per illuminare l’outfit. 

LIME

Accende il look e difficilmente passa inosservato. In inverno lo abbiamo testato con qualche accessorio, per questa primavera estate il mantra sembra essere “o tutto o niente”, ergo il verde si porterà in total look, assoluto e come unico protagonista.

VERDE ACQUA MENTA

Se le nuance più brillanti vi sembrano troppo intense e cercate invece una tonalità più delicata ma che sia altrettanto fresca e cool, sappiate che c’è il colore che fa per voi!

Si tratta del Green Ash, un verde cenere che, con quella nota “mentolata” in grado di “rinfrescare” proprio come un bel ghiacciolo alla menta in piena estate! 

SMERALDO

La tonalità di verde preferita di questa stagione è lo smeraldo, la cromia sofisticata delle gemme dei gioielli più preziosi. I suoi punti forti? Intensa, brillante e luminosa è la scelta migliore che potete fare questa primavera estate 2021. Se il total look monocromatico vi sembra adatto solo agli abiti lunghi da cerimonia o dei red carpet perché ad alto impatto visivo, partite dall’accessorio per familiarizzare con questo colore. 

PRATO

Estensione del Greenry, il verde prato è la nuova sfumatura prediletta per chi ama la raffinatezza e l’eleganza. Inoltre ha una valenza ecologica e si indossa quasi come uno slogan ambientalista. Dietro la forza e la fortuna del verde prato c’è la sua valenza ecologica. Pochi colori, infatti, rimandano così tanto alla cura e alla tutela dell’ambiente.

For next summer, fashion trends 2021 decide to put in the background warm colors to make room for cool colors and among these one has conquered the inspiration and the heart of many designers, green! 

The color of rebirth, sustainability and happiness has invaded the catwalks of spring summer 2021: from the neon shades of Balmain to the softer and more natural nuances of Dior and Michael Kors Collection, up to the freshness of the emerald shade of Bottega Veneta and aquamarine for the bon ton dress of Boss.

The ready-to-wear proposals explore and propose this trend through various fabrics. They range from the most rigid and structured ones – such as tulle – to the more fluid and sensual ones such as satin and silk with a glossy finish. The highest common denominator spotted on the catwalk, however, concerns the type of look: the mantra seems to be “all or nothing”, ergo green will be worn in total look, absolute and as the only protagonist.

The green wave has literally swept us away, also thanks to some successful TV series; in fact, it has not only appeared on the catwalks but has also left some important traces by defining some outfits of the protagonists of two hits in particular: The Queen’s Gambit and Emily in Paris. Beth Harmon wears a myrtle-green turtleneck that enhances her complexion and the tawny color of her hair, while Emily sports two really super glamorous Chanel outfits: a bottle-green metal-effect biker and a tweed jacket with mint appliqué pockets.

Obviously for style icon Hailey Bieber too, it was impossible to resist this new trend. In April, she was photographed on the streets of Beverly Hills wearing a high-waisted EB Denim, a neon green blazer by Kwaidan Editions, a white tank top by Totême and high heels, categorically green, by Bottega Veneta. Outfit absolutely to copy!

And what about cinema?  The most iconic green dress is undoubtedly the emerald one worn by Keira Knightley in the movie Atonement, directed by Joe Wright in 2007, made by American costume designer Jacqueline Durran, considered by many sources as one of the best costumes in the history of cinema.

Fashionistas and influencers who know the latest trends and master the wardrobe, often propose original or unprecedented ideas. And of course Dressucan advises you to experiment, always, because that’s how trends are born. I’m sure that many of you are afraid to dare, more than anything else for the fear of being “tacky” or “out of place”. Don’t be afraid! In fact, this year green will be your ally! 

                                             HOW TO MATCH THE GREEN

1. Green really lends itself to many combinations, such as with pink, orange, blue or burgundy. 

2. I know that sometimes a comfort zone defined by the neutral palette of black, white and beige is more reassuring, but an unexpected (and appropriate) hint of color can give a twist to the final look. Whether it’s a blazer, a pair of sandals or a bag matters little.

3. Absolutely YES to the TOTAL LOOK, also because this year designers have been very clear: green all over!

4. YES to monochromatic green, NO to the combination of two different but similar greens.

5. Never combine pastel notes with electric blue.

Forest green

A hint of neutral green that can turn any outfit into a wardrobe staple, to be worn both in spring and fall. Accessorize with black, or contrasting, bright accessories to brighten up the outfit. 

Lime

It lights up the look and hardly goes unnoticed. In winter we tested it with some accessories, for this spring summer the mantra seems to be “all or nothing”, ergo green will be worn in total look, absolute and as the only protagonist.

Mint 

If bright greens seem too intense and you’re looking for a more delicate shade that’s just as fresh and cool, there’s a color for you!

This is Green Ash, an ash green that, with that “minty” note, is able to “refresh” you just like a nice mint popsicle in the middle of summer! 

Emerald 

This season’s favorite shade of green is Emerald, the sophisticated hue of the most precious jewel gems. Its highlights? Intense, bright and luminous it is the best choice you can make this spring summer 2021. If the monochromatic total look seems to you suitable only for long formal or red carpet dresses because of its high visual impact, start from the accessory to get familiar with this color. 

Grass Green

An extension of Greenry, meadow green is the new favorite shade for those who love refinement and elegance. It also has an ecological value and is worn almost like an environmentalist slogan. Behind the strength and fortune of grass green is its ecological value. Few colors, in fact, refer so much to the care and protection of the environment.
